About us
Bureau Vermaeck initiates, organises and produces national and international sports and cultural events, and preferably combine them in one event! We do this partly on behalf of external parties and partly on our own initiative. Our main goal? To offer an unforgettable experience to our visitors!
Bureau Vermaeck is a family business founded in 2017 that combines years of knowledge and experience in the event business. Many of Bureau Vermaeck's projects take place in Rotterdam, but have an impact far beyond. Our heart beats faster for events that add value to the city or cities in which we organise our events and when visitors get an unforgettable experience from our events. We aim to make a social difference too. Some examples: with the World Police & Fire Games in Rotterdam we were able to put emergency workers from all over the world in the spotlight, with IJsvrij we open our doors to children with disabilities or families with a small financial budget and Rotterdam Unlimited Zomercarnaval celebrates the diversity of cultures in Rotterdam.
Our mission
Bureau Vermaeck develops cultural, sports and social projects and productions in special places where people meet and have an unexpected experience. By working together with a network of creative partners, widely supported temporary initiatives are created on squares, on the water and in the park. What drives us is a lively city, in summer and in winter. Our ambition is to link our projects to existing attractions, urban functions and social themes, making the result as dynamic as the city itself.
